About Us
The Esther White Fund is managed by Ian and Ros White, Esther's parents.
Ian is the senior minister of Victoria Baptist Church in Eastbourne, UK and Ros is a social worker. They wrote this:
"Our work brings us into contact with numerous people facing a wide variety of life challenges and it is always a thrill to us to see young people have their faith in Christ stretched by doing exciting things which have a spiritual impact."
"We were both active in youth work in our careers and have a desire to benefit other young peole in the same way that their own daughter benefitted from bravely stepping outside her comfort zone. Their son, Chris, was equally adventurous, becoming the sound engineer for a Youth for Christ band TBV for a year."
Ian and Ros administer and manage the fund and do not draw out any administration overheads. This means that every penny that is given to the fund finds its way to a deserving young person who will benefit from its support.
